These terms cover your use of Stockback. Using the site or the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.

What Stockback is

You send proof that you spent money at a brand on our shelf. A reader checks it and, if it is accepted, a reward worth part of the total is bought as a tokenized share of that brand and sent to a wallet you control. Stockback is not a broker, a bank or an exchange, holds nothing for you, and nothing on it is investment advice.

Who can use it

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, use the app for yourself and not on behalf of anyone else, and live somewhere tokenized shares can lawfully be delivered to a self-custodied wallet. The list of places we serve can change; a change applies to claims sent after it.

Your wallet

Rewards are paid to a wallet you control. We never hold your keys and cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover what is in it. If you lose access to the wallet, we cannot restore what was paid there.

Claims

A claim is a receipt or an email plus the reading we make of it. A claim can be turned away if it is unreadable, already used, older than thirty days, not from a brand on the shelf, not from the merchant's own domain, or if we have reason to believe it is not yours or not real. A rejected claim is shown with its reason. Rewards are stock, so a false claim is theft and is treated as one.

Rewards and caps

Each brand's rate, the caps, the daily limit and the shelf itself can change at any time; a change applies to claims sent after it. A reward is priced at market when the claim settles, not when it is sent. Tokenized shares track the price of a share and that price moves in both directions. We promise no value, no return and no brand staying on the shelf.

The token

$STOCKBACK is a utility token that raises the per-receipt cap and is what protocol revenue buys back. It is not a share, not a claim on revenue and not an offer of one. It can lose value. Anything sold under this name at an address not shown on the token page is not ours.

Ending it

You can stop using Stockback whenever you like; what has already been paid to your wallet stays yours. We can close an account that abuses the reader, and we can stop the service.
